Michael has welcomed news that crime has fallen by 8% year-on-year, according to the independent Crime Survey for England and Wales, and by more than a quarter (30%) since 2010.
Commenting, Michael said: "Today’s figures show that police reform is working and crime is falling. In Dorset, crime recorded by the police has fallen by 19%. This is good news for families across Dorset – meaning their communities are safer and more secure than ever before. As a barrister, this is an area that I am very familiar with. I would like to extend my thanks to the Police who do an excellent job."
