In only a week there will be the first election in December since 1923. I voted for the election, as it was clear that Parliament was deadlocked on Brexit, and no progress was being made. If I am re-elected, I will continue to honour the result of the referendum. Over the last few weeks I have been out and about across the constituency, chatting to residents and hearing their views and concerns.
Over the last four and a half years it has been a privilege to serve as the MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole. I have lived here with my family for over 15 years, and Dorset is my home. We are incredibly lucky to live in such a beautiful county, which combines the natural world of both countryside and coast.
It is always humbling to hear from people who I have been able to help in my role as an MP, and I hope to continue this work helping local residents and businesses.
