At the Conservative Party Conference Michael was pleased to chat to the Guide Dogs charity about their concerns over e-scooters. They discussed the e-scooter trials currently ongoing in Poole, and what features might need to be added to e-scooters to make them safer for people with sight and hearing problems.
Michael said
I know that David Sidwick, the new Police and Crime Commissioner for Dorset is aware of the problems around e-scooters, and that Dorset police are taking pro-active steps to ensure that people know the law around e-scooters. It was good to hear directly from Guide Dogs what features they would like to see.
