Michael Tomlinson is delighted to report good news regarding a local GP surgery.Local resident, Leroy Frampton is so happy with service he is receiving from his GP surgery he met with Michael Tomlinson recently to discuss this and other local and national issues.Michael says "It's always nice to hear about the fabulous work carried out by NHS staff so it was a pleasure to meet with Mr Frampton. £1.2 billion of foreign exchange fines will be invested in GP services across the UK, this is good news for local residents who will benefit from excellent GP services. We have also brought back named GPs for 4 million over 75s, and we are now expanding this to include everyone. Our £50 million GP access fund already covers more than 1,100 practices and improves access for 7.5 million people. Early evidence shows this has helped reduce A&E attendances. By March next year, a further £100 million will support a further 1,417 practices across the country – meaning 10 million more people with increased access to their GP services"
