Michael has been supporting Ukrainians in Mid Dorset and North Poole, and this week he also met the Ukrainian Prosecutor General, Andriy Kostin.
This was alongside HM Attorney General, Michael Ellis KC MP and Sir Howard Morrison KC, the UK-appointed Independent Advisor to the Prosecutor General. The UK stands shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine’s search for justice and accountability for Russia’s actions. They discussed the UK’s ongoing support for the prosecution of war crimes in Ukraine through the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group and the work that the UK government is funding to train Ukrainian judges on domestic war crimes trials.
