Every year in Parliament there is a special Garden of Remembrance for those who have died in the service of this country. Each Member of Parliament is invited to plant a stake on behalf of their constituents.
Michael was honoured to be able to do this, to remember those from Mid Dorset and North Poole who gave their lives to keep us free.
Michael said:
I will be attending various events and services this coming weekend in the constituency, but it was an honour to be able to do this small thing to ensure that the people from Dorset and Poole who gave their lives will be remembered here in the heart of our democracy.
