In his role as Solicitor General, Michael Tomlinson MP went with the Attorney General Victoria Prentis to visit key international legal institutions and organisations in The Hague. They were there to demonstrate unwavering UK support for international justice and accountability.
Michael and Victoria met senior judges and key figures at the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice, Eurojust and the International Commission on Missing Persons. They discussed a range of issues, including combatting international organised crime, ensuring accountability for atrocities committed during the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine and emphasising the UK’s commitment to the international rule of law.
