This week Michael had the joy of helping a group of five passionate work experience students who came to help at the parliamentary office. They helped with a range of challenging tasks such as the joys of stuffing envelopes, writing social media posts for our constituents and visiting the London office to report on a speech in the House of Commons on the crime of spiking. Alongside this support from the group Michael also chatted to each one to answer any questions they had on life in politics and being an MP who works for their constituents. You can read their diary entries on the website Work Experience Diaries

"It is always a pleasure to help lead and work alongside such hard working young people who have high aspirations for a political future. The whole office had a great week working alongside them and we wish them all the best in their future careers. It is so important to help and teach young people of the world and I hope the experience they gained serves them in the future. They had particularly impressive research and debating skills and I look forward to seeing what they can achieve in the future!"
