Infrastucture

Infrastructure is vital to all those who live, work and visit Dorset.  Michael is continuing his campaign for better infrastructure in Dorset.  He met recently with Highways England and will continue to work closely with neighbouring MPs, local authorities and the LEP to improve our roads.

However, infrastructure is about more than just our roads.  For me it is vital that we have adequate broadband as well.  I am the Vice Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Broadband, and I continually raise this subject both in the Chamber and in correspondence.

Further, opening up the railway could help to alleviate this problem too, in particular in Purbeck.  The Swanage railway could provide that vital link - watch this space.
