Michael Tomlinson, Member of Parliament for Mid Dorset & North Poole, is to hold a Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair to help young people find work.
The fair will be held at Queen Elizabeth’s School in Wimborne on Friday 15th April 2016 between 12PM- 3PM. The event will bring together a wide range of businesses and apprenticeship schemes and will allow students to meet key local employers and talk to them about available opportunities.
Michael said “We have many excellent local businesses and very talented students. I want my Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair to bring the two together and create stronger links with businesses and young people.”
“Helping people find work is a key interest of mine, from working with Young Enterprise in our schools and running a Jobs Club to help people with their CVs. I believe that a stable job is fundamental to people’s prosperity.”
Michael is hoping that many local businesses will participate in the Jobs and Apprenticeship Fair and is urging any who is interested to get in touch. Please call 0207 219 5844 or email [email protected] for more information or to register your interest in this event.
