Michael visited Canford Heath along with Sean Gabriel where he got involved in a pond digging project with Poole Heath Wardens and volunteers to improve the water access for wildlife. Sean Gabriel the councillor for Canford Heath West Ward accompanied Michael to dig a pond on the heathlands where there is restricted drainage.
This allows the biodiversity within the habitat better access to water throughout the warm and dry summer months, encouraging dragonflies and spiders.
