I am always incredibly grateful to the many volunteers who work hard in our community in so many different ways. Over the last few years, it has been a privilege to be able to meet so many of these of volunteers, and thank them for their work. Volunteering for the community, or for charity is something that can be undervalued in society. I am pleased that as an MP I was able to recommend people for awards, and highlight some of the great work going on in Mid Dorset & North Poole, as well as get involved myself in raising money.
I meet regularly with local businesses across the constituency, and when relevant, arrange meetings with Minsters and businesses in order to look at unnecessary and bureaucratic regulations.
