Michael met the Chief Fire Officer for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Recue service, Ben Ansell. They discussed the challenges and opportunities for the fire service in Dorset, including funding.
They also discussed raising awareness of the danger of heath fires across Dorset, in advance of drier weather. Leader of Dorset Council, Cllr Spencer Flower, and Dorset Councillor Bill Pipe also attended.
