Great news that BCP Council has been awarded £120,309 as part of Defra’s Air Quality Grant Scheme. This fund is designed to support local authorities in carrying out projects to tackle air pollution and reduce emissions.
The money will fund engagement with schools to encourage active and sustainable travel, and the purchase of e-cargo bikes to replace diesel powered delivery freight on the sea front.
