Over the summer, families with children who are eligible for free school meals can get free activities and meals over the summer through the local council. Families need to sign up and can do so here:
There are also lots of offers if you want to treat the kids to a meal out over the summer. Please do check with the retailer that the offer is still valid before ordering.
Asda: The budget supermarket offers kids to eat for £1 ‘All Day, Every Day’ at Asda cafes, with no adult spend required.
Tesco: Children can eat for free with a purchase of more than 60p from Mon 24th July - Fri 1st September 2023.
Sainsbury’s Cafe: If adults purchase a hot main, children can eat for £1 from 11:30am every day.
M&S Cafe: M&S Café has a Kids Eat Free offer every weekday where kids can enjoy a £4 Kids Munch Menu free of charge every time you spend £5 or more in the Café. It’s available between 24th July to 1st September 2023.
Morrisons: If you spend £4.49, you can get one free kids meal all day, every day. Kids can be up to 15 years old.
YO! Sushi!: Kids eat free all day when dining with a full-paying adult who has a meal worth at least £10. It’s available from Monday 10th July until Friday 1st September,
Travelodge: Up to two kids can eat breakfast for free when one Adult Breakfast is bought for £8.99.
Premier Inn: If you buy one Adult Breakfast, up to two kids eat breakfast for free.e Simmonds makes discovery about her adoption
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants: Children under 8-years-old can eat free all day, every day at selected Gordon Ramsay restaurants.
Pausa Cafe @ Dunelm: Children get one mini main, two snacks and a drink for free after 3pm if adults spend £4.
Hungry Horse: Hungry Horse, owned by Greene King, is running a deal from July 1 to September 3 where a family of four can all eat for just £15. Over the summer you can get two adult meals and two kid's meals for £15 all day, every day. To accommodate families of different sizes, it is offering a separate deal where you can get one adult Pub Classic meal and one kids' meal for £10.
Brewers Fayre: Two kids can get a free breakfast at any Brewers Fayre restaurant with one full paying adult. The chain of pub eateries offers an unlimited adult breakfast for £9.99, which allows two kids under 16 to bag an all-you-can-eat breakfast for free.
Bella Italia: Another Italian chain, Bella Italia, lets kids eat for £1 with the purchase of any adult main meal between 4pm-6pm on Monday-Thursday, as well as Saturdays and Sundays in some locations.
Ikea: Children can get meals for just 95p every day from 11am.
